Our Connection

Castle Rock & Our Connection

Castle Rock United Methodist Church is a welcoming faith community at the heart of our town—where neighbors gather to worship, serve, and grow together in Christ's love. We believe that a small church can make a big difference by opening its doors, building relationships, and caring for its community.

Castle Rock is also part of the Lower Columbia United Methodist Connection, a family of five United Methodist churches serving communities along the Columbia River in Washington and Oregon. Together we share pastoral leadership, ministries, resources, and vision while honoring the unique gifts of each congregation.

Castle Rock brings its own strengths to our Connection. Our church opens its doors each week to the community through 4-H, sewing classes, the Young at Heart Exercise Group that combines gentle movement with meditation and prayer, Lions Club meetings, and community events such as our annual Talent Show. These ministries create welcoming spaces where friendships grow and faith is shared in everyday life.

Castle Rock also serves as the anchor church for our mission partnership with Nepal, helping connect our local congregation with God's work around the world through prayer, education, and global mission.

Together with Longview, Kalama, Rainier, and St. Helens First United Methodist Church, we are discovering that we are stronger together than apart—sharing Christ's love across our communities while each church continues to flourish in its own unique way.
